Draft documentation

I've added pages for:
General introduction (http://mapsforall.org/node/13)
A high level explanation of the process (http://mapsforall.org/node/14)

If you're happy with the general words then I suggest that we (I?) do a massive edit of the site and consolidate it into a nice front page etc.

Tamale Imagery ready for tracing

We've processed our imagery of Tamale, Ghana and it is ready for tracing via the OSM Tasking Manager. The OSM Tasking Manager assigns grid squares across the entire area that our imagery covers. You can log into the OSM Tasking Manager with an OpenStreetMap account - if you don't have one already you can sign up here.

Building on the pilot

As the pilot begins to take shape in Tamale with our initial volunteers, we're looking for more people on the ground in Tamale to join in. If you're interested or know someone or might be, please contact me (http://mapsforall.org/contact).

Tamale and beyond

It's been some time but it looks like we'll get the Tamale imagery soon. Then let the fun (and mapping) begin!

Got GPS?

What better way to share the joy of maps than to donate a GPS receiver to some needy mappers.

We are helping mappers create local maps and we would love to help them by providing them with some GPS devices. They will enable mappers to map in areas that are not covered by high-resolution imagery.

Logo Design

We need a logo!

I'm not a Logo / UX guy, so maybe some of the cool volunteers from OpenStreetMap or Sparked.com can help us out with a logo. We're also thinking about wider styles & themes. If you have any feedback or ideas for theming around the website, let us know.
It needs to reflect the goals of this project:
